Richard Smerin is from London, England.
He is currently living in mainland Europe.
Smerin is a fingerpicking blues guitarist
With over 150 original songs to his credit.

While usually described as 'country blues', Smerin's style incorporates Chicago/electric blues music, played in an acoustic fashion.
He has long been enthralled by that particular branch of
'modern' guitar picking

and epitomised in the playing of Bert Jansch.
